Whitest Boy Alive @ Coachella
Only the 2nd show of the band ever in the US, but if this doesn’t make people love them, they don’t deserve a 3rd.
Performing at the same time as Jay Z seemed to be hard, since the rapper is huge in the States. Luckily there were some people attending Whitest Boy Alive, and what a show did they got in return!
The relaxed frontman Erlend Oye dances around on stage while having great contact with the crowd. With their music it almost hard to stand still when listening to the album, but actually listening to it live makes that impossible. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one having that problem, there were people dancing everywhere. Of course, Jay Z had filtered the crowd, so only people who knew they were going to enjoy the show were there, but still, when the band asked to sing along, there wasn’t a single soul that was quiet.
