Gorillaz @ Coachella
Geschreven door .
Gorillaz has always been something on my list to see, but instead of taking it of after seeing them live, I want more!

It is not just a performance, it’s the whole package which Damon Albarn as a musical genius delivers. After his credits he got for Blur, this second phase of his life seems to make him happy, since in fact he kept on smiling during his 80 minutes on stage at Coachella Music & Arts festival 2010. He was really enjoying himself, and that makes a show worth watching as a fan!
Furthermore, specials guests as Bobby Womack, Little Dragon and De La Soul, make it an allround musical experience where different genres pass you by, while enjoying looking at the band and huge GORILLAZ neon letters. Just to see the letters…magical.
I say seeing the band is enjoyable, because it is so great that the band decided to really perform on stage, in stead of behind a curtain, what they used to do during the tours of their first 2 albums. Being able to look at them having a great time makes it a lot more worthwhile.
Thank you Gorillaz, for a great show!
